To help celebrate 25 years of West Cumbria Carers, Ennerdale Brewery brewed a limited edition “Juggler’s Ale”. A glorious copper ale with a fruity, pear drop finish.
The name and packaging were influenced by the West Cumbria Carers logo, and represents the busy and demanding work of the organisation and the people they support. The label still had to follow the the same style as the other Ennerdale Brewery ales, with its iconic mountain range outline, but I used bold colour palette and created fun illustration work to create a special celebratory feel for the milestone anniversary.
Founded in 1992 West Cumbria Carers offer support to carers who look after a family member, relative, friend or neighbour who could not manage without their help. Their support is fundamental to 8,000 unpaid carers in West Cumbria with ages ranging from as young as 5 years old.
I also designed drinks coasters for the ale’s launch night, which had all the necessary contact information for West Cumbria Carers for people to seek support from them if needed.
The Ennerdale Brewery is a family run business located in the Western Lake District. Using the finest locally sourced water and ingredients. Their craft brews can be found in bottled or on draft in various shops and pubs around Cumbria.
